A friend of mine at the university – who views herself as having the utmost integrity – played this AGW card in her grant application and secured a research grant to travel to Japan. On the inside, it is very difficult to see what is wrong with such a move, however, if the media did not like the idea, they would really make it look scandalous. </p> I am afraid that this grant thing is more insidious than we imagine.
